The U.S. government has identified Jetflicks and iStreamitAll, subscription IPTV services, as two of the largest piracy platforms in the country. In 2019, eight Las Vegas residents were indicted in connection with these services. While some defendants have already pled guilty and been sentenced, others are now preparing for trial, navigating through a staggering 700 case filings.

This case stands out not only for its scale but also for the sheer volume of evidence involved. With 19TB of data and a whopping 175,000 pages of print discovery, equivalent to roughly a ton of paper, this prosecution represents one of the most complex streaming piracy cases in U.S. history.

Almost half a decade ago, eight Las Vegas men faced indictment by a grand jury for conspiring to violate criminal copyright law.

The U.S. government identified Jetflicks and iStreamitAll as two of the largest pirate streaming platforms in the United States.

Jetflicks, disguised as an aviation service, allegedly boasted a library of 183,285 pirated TV episodes. Meanwhile, iStreamitAll purportedly provided access to over 118,479 TV shows and 10,980 movies, surpassing the content offerings of Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime.

While some individuals involved, like Jetflicks programmer Darryl Julius Polo (aka djppimp), swiftly admitted guilt to copyright infringement and money laundering, receiving substantial sentences, others opted to contest the charges.

Kristopher Lee Dallmann, Douglas M. Courson, Felipe Garcia, Jared Edward Jaurequi, Peter H. Huber, and Yoany Vaillant Fajardo chose to fight their cases, leading to a protracted legal battle marked by personal issues, COVID-19 disruptions, and numerous pre-trial release violations.

Despite various challenges, a trial is set to commence in Las Vegas in March 2024. The complexity of the case is evidenced by the extensive discovery materials, which include 175,000 pages of print discovery and 18.68 terabytes of digital data, obtained from various sources including Canada.

The enormity of the evidence underscores the magnitude of the legal proceedings, with the defence grappling to navigate through mountains of data in preparation for the trial.
